Current Openings

Ballroom / Contemporary Dance Intructor

Responsibilities:

  • The full-time position will work a 40 hour work week during studio hours of Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Direct existing students on their current dance plan and help define new student dance plans
  • Follow the specified syllabus
  • Coordinate schedule and follow-up with students and parents of students
  • Attend various dance competitions throughout the calendar year
  • Be inclusive to all customers of db Studios, enhancing the community experience

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Candidates should have a strong work ethic
  • Be open to feedback
  • 2+ years experience as a ballroom dance instructor OR formal dance degree from college or university
  • Sales experience in upselling of dance services
  • Interest in driving marketing via social media and local advertising

Office Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • The part-time or full-timne position will work a 20 or 40 hour work week during studio hours of Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Interacting with students and parents in professional and friendly manner
  • Follow the specified syllabus
  • Coordinate schedule and follow-up with students and parents of students via email, SMS, or phone
  • Assisting with enquiries about registration, uniform, rehearsal schedule, pricing, etc

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing are required
  • Experience using Google Drive apps
  • Knowledge of Squarespace, Mailchimp is a plus
  • 3+ years experience as a administrative assitant
  • Must be a good communicator, friendly, helpful and organized
