Contemporary II is for the more experienced dancer. Students should have previous experience in either ballet, jazz, or contemporary before entering this class. In contemporary II the pace is faster and pushes students to learn new combinations quickly and easily so that more time can be spent on technique. With an emphasis on extension, advanced turning patterns, and more advanced jumps this class will take students to another level. A large emphasis is spent on developing each students' unique artistic voice and expressive qualities, in order to develop both a technical and expressive dancer.

Attire: Girls are to wear jazz pants or shorts with a black leotard. Tan or black jazz shoes, and hair secured. Boys are to wear black pants, black t-shirt, and black or tan jazz shoes.
